Rule 11
May appoint bench officers and staff
(1) As far as available, the registrar may appoint at least ten officers of the second class of the gazetted court who have obtained post-graduate degrees in constitutional law to work on the bench as bench officers.
(2) The officer appointed as per sub-rule (1) shall generally do the following:-
(a) Taking charge of the cases presented in the bench and hearing the case in the bench,
(b) To assist the judge in the preparation of the judgment or order of the case heard,
(c) To put the case presented in the court and the necessary details related to it on the website so that all concerned are informed,
(d) Collecting research materials that will be helpful in preparing the full text of the judgment in coordination with the research and expert group according to Rule 12,
(e) To do other work related to the management of the court.
(3) The registrar may appoint at least five official employees of the third grade of the court to assist the court officer in conducting the work of the court.
(4) The employee appointed according to sub-rule (3) shall assist the relevant bench officer in the management of the bench and the preparation of the full text of the judgment.
(5) The registrar may appoint a computer operator as necessary to type the full text of the orders and judgments of the bench and office assistants as necessary to assist in the work of the bench and the office of the bench officer.
(6) The employees assigned according to sub-rule (5) shall work as prescribed by the concerned bench officer.
